Google’s “Loss of Pulse” feature has received FDA Approval and is not on the Pixel Watch 3.

Announced in 2024 starting with Pixel Watch 3 in the EU, this feature is available in 14 countries and will begin rolling it out in the U.S. at the end of March.

Amazon launching Alexa.com and new app for Alexa Plus (another subscription 😮‍💨), which is basically a home of all of Amazon AI stuff, seems meh, but this feels like for a lot of iOS users that use Echo devices.

I’ve been using Gemini 2.0 on Github and Gemini 2.0 Deep Research for researching property management companies and learning about the industry, and it’s all been incredibly useful! It’s been exciting and feels like the early days of search and the web.

I picked up a Google Home Max on eBay to match our two Nest Audio speakers for a tri-group audio casting experience.

Need to find a better spot for our vinyl record player though.

Pixel 9a and Galaxy A56 are looking like easy wins.

Should I try out the OnePlus Watch 3?

What do you think?

I just used the Google TV, Gemini powered, News Brief feature on my TV streamer and I don’t hate it.

It provides a quick, 3 minute briefing of the news so far today. The cool thing about it is that while Gemini is providing the summary, there are videos you can dive into on what’s being summarized.

What do you use for RSS?

I’ve been using Twine - RSS Reader for a little over 6 months now and have been loving it. Especially since it uses the proper Material UI on Android.

I most likely won’t be able to go to Google I/O this year since it falls right on the weekend of our anniversary. As much as I’d love to nerd out with the Android community at the Shoreline like last year, but I’d rather lay out on vacation with my wife 😎🌴🍹
